April 13 since my "babies" turned 2
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?

I turned 29 this year. Boo hoo! Andy had a surprise party for me at our house with new friends from Texas.
21. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
Having more time to move between bases would have been nice but we survived it. Seeing more of our family would have been nice as well.
22. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2009?
Ummm comfy
23. What kept you sane?
Mother's Day Out, Andy, Kristi, & online friends
24. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2009
That I cannot control everything so I need to just let go when I can.
25. Quote a song that sums up your year.
From Green Day's "Good Riddance"
"Another turning point, a fork stuck in the road
Time grabs you by the wrist, directs you where to go
So make the best of this test, and don't ask why
It's not a question, but a lesson learned in time
It's something unpredictable, but in the end it's right."

Gingerbread House
For some reason I totally forgot to post about our gingerbread house. Andy was the head architect in charge of the project. It was fun for A&E for the first half but then Evan got a little bored with it and they just wanted to lick the icing.

Just a little taste

Avery was pretty into it

Gingerbread meltdown

But he bounces back quickly

The Bug has hit
Just a little update from us. I am not hibernating but I have been in bed and on the couch for a few days. The stomach bug hit our house hard on Saturday night. Avery started throwing up in the evening (until early morning poor girl) and then it hit Evan and I at the same time, 3 am! I was taking care of Avery up until then since Andy doesn't handle throwing up very well. He was the errand boy and taking care of Evan.
Thankfully Andy has managed to stay well and play nurse to us all. Avery was feeling better yesterday and Evan and I seem to be doing better today...so much for the 24 hour thing I was hoping for desperately. I am still run down and tired and A&E aren't completely back to their normal selves yet. The three of us are working our way back up to eating a bit. It has been a rough few days. Fun posts will be coming soon!

Merry Christmas
We had a great Christmas! A&E let us sleep in then Andy made us a yummy breakfast. A&E got their stockings before breakfast then we opened gifts after we ate.
Evan noticed the gifts first thing.

Avery didn't even pay attention. She was reading until breakfast was ready.

Stockings!

Time for gifts

They loved their new cowboy hats!

Avery also loved her dress up trunk. She wore the clip-on earrings and plastic pearls all day!

Andy keeps calling her Reba because she looks like a country singer

Grammy & Pappy chipped in and helped mommy & daddy get a train table. A&E are all about it!

Andy and I also got some fun gifts for each other!
I got accessories for my new sewing machine, a shower extender, a Wendy's application (ha ha Andy), and a gorgeous Mommy Squared necklace.

My necklace was in this huge box full of packing peanuts...I started to think it was just a box of peanuts.

This is my necklace up close (this is the prize I really wanted when we entered the Multiples costume contest and Andy remembered....all together now awwww)

Andy got some mint chocolate candies, a Wii Resort game, and a Buzz quiz game for PS3

Evan had to try out Andy's game too!

Merry Christmas from the Kline family!

Videos should work
I didn't realize everyone couldn't view A&E's program videos. I had them marked as private. You should be able to view them now. Christmas pics coming soon....

Practice Christmas
A&E have so many gifts for Christmas and we learned from exchanging gifts with our family that Evan gets pretty excited over 1 gift then is done opening everything else. We decided to do some gifts early to "practice" for Christmas morning.
First we opened gifts from Pappy Jay.

A&E love the Poingo books. We haven't watched Benji yet.

Next we opened gifts from A&E's great grandparents.

We L-O-V-E our paintings that Great Grammy made. They are perfect!

This morning we had some gifts under the tree that we bought with Grandpa Wayne & Cheryl's gift cards.
They took off when they saw the stuff

The b-ball hoop is in Evan's room now. He may never sleep lol

Evan has played basketball all day. We are going to have to go buy another basketball so they can both shoot at the same time. The sit n spin is a big hit too! Evan also got a dump truck and Avery got a jeep for her Barbies.
Stay tuned for more pics....
