Fishing Fun!

We found a hidden gem of a pond that I never knew about growing up in the area. They had a great time!

I got stuck with Avery's pole but when I hooked one, she reeled it in.

Sheep Herders

Papaw had to go feed some sheep for one of his friends so we tagged along. Even Murphy didn't want to miss out and ended up going with us (he kept following the van and would not go back to the house).

We had to leave Murphy in the van but he was going crazy. I guess his herding instincts kicked in. He drooled so much that Andy had to wipe down the van seat.

Yay! I figured out my issue (well the technical type). A&E love to play at Papaw's house. I think they were meant to be farm kids. They had a blast.

Technical difficulties

So not only am I experiencing sinus difficulties, I seem to be having technical difficulties as well. I have tons to blog about but cannot get photobucket to work correctly to upload pictures. I REALLY wish I could find another site for that purpose. I haven't felt up to editing and uploading this week because I have been sick. I gave in and went to the doc when it seemed like my family was going to kick me out for keeping everyone up at night with my coughing. My doc (Dr House which always makes me giggle) doesn't like to diagnose a specific ailment. I was just told it's not pneumonia but I do have drainage and my right ear is inflamed. He gave me a zpack and some cough syrup with codeine. So maybe it's a sinus infection? We always play this guessing game but I never know if I guess correctly. :p He also advised I stay inside because of the heat and air quality advisory. I scoffed at his advice then had trouble breathing the nasty, hot air when I was outside. Yup I feel old. Now I'm on the mend but photobucket is having issues. A certain husband who will remain nameless also changed the password to my google accounts so I had some trouble logging on today because I forgot what he changed it too.

Hopefully soon everything will be back up and running and I can share more pics of our trip.

Takoma 5K Race and Family Fun

Andy decided to run a 5K the day after we made it to TN. Crazy? I believe so. lol At least it was in the evening. It was to benefit a hospital and they had a family fun thing set up as well so we all went.

This guy was way more trusting than I would be when he handed my children a mallet. Look how close he was standing!
