A&E got a box of Halloween stuff from a mom friend (thanks again Brittany) and it included these Potato Head pumpkin decorating kits. So much better than using sharp objects to cut a pumpkin! :) Papaw helped them while I took pics!
They did a trunk or treat on base last weekend so A&E dressed up to trick or treat there. They loved seeing all the other costumes. I liked that everything was lined up and we were in and out. :)
Papaw and Granny J came for a visit last week. A&E were so excited and are currently going through grandparent withdrawals. They love the constant attention and spoiling. ;)
We had a nice time and I had free babysitters to go to our neighborhood Halloween party. How much easier would life be if I had grandparents around to help? Maybe I was a tad spoiled too. I was able to cook dinner and do chores without 2 little helpers needing my constant attention. I even went to the bathroom by myself a few times. lol
Avery kinda wore Papaw out with the constant need for pushing on the swing.
A&E are very interested in what letter a word starts with and it's sound. Tonight at dinner, they were asking what jeep, Murphy, Joey, boot, apple, anything they could think of starts with. So then our conversation went like this (E-Evan M-Me):
E: What does I start with? M: It is just an I E: No what do I start with? M: It's an I E: No, it's E for Evan
On Saturday, we went to a pumpkin patch in Little Rock. When we left, it was chilly out but after we had been there an hour, it definitely warmed up. We had a fun time on the hayride and watching the pig races. A&E also enjoyed the petting zoo, cow train, and playing on the hay slide.
