It was finally time to do our flash mob to Thriller today. I'm so bummed that I feel awful today but the show must go on, right? It was so much fun and that is one thing off my bucket list! (hint: I'm on the far right and my hair is dark now)

Boo Bags
Friday we worked on a craft since all of us had the day off. We made "boo bags". We started the tradition last year in our neighborhood. You leave a note and a sign with a bag of goodies for 2 neighbors (it's confidential so don't tell our neighbors about these bags shhhh). The people who were booed hang their sign up in their door so they don't get more treats. They then have to boo 2 other neighbors. A&E love the part where we sneak up to houses in the dark, ring the doorbell, then run away. It's way better than ding dong ditching though because the neighbor gets treats.

Andy and I were required to make a bag as well.
Can you tell how thrilled Andy is about modeling with his bag? ;)

I'm slightly offended I was assigned the witch :p

Pumpkin homework
A&E had homework this weekend! They each picked a small pumpkin on their field trip so we had to decorate them this weekend.
We used the animal kit from a couple years ago because the witch and pirate from last year were too big. We'll save those for pumpkins at home.
Avery decided to make a puppy

Evan made a bear

Pumpkin Patch Field Trip
Today was pumpkin patch field trip day for A&E! They've been looking forward to this for weeks. It also happened to be picture day and early dismissal. Not sure who planned it. :p It was the same pumpkin patch I took the kids to last year.
First we checked out the pig races

Then the kids were able to feed the animals (those poor animals)

A&E were gentle and did great. Other kids were not so well behaved.

Look at our big 4 1/2 year olds (as of yesterday)

Bowtie, suspenders, and swords...
One of Andy's friends got married over the weekend. We had a neighbor babysit and dressed up to go like real grown ups. :) His friend asked him to wear his dress uniform and help with the end of the ceremony. I can't help it but I miss the old dress blues. I'm not a fan of the suspenders and bowtie with his new set. It makes me laugh too much. Thank goodness he got a sword to even out the nerdy factor. lol
