C was 1st runner up in the costume contest. We were beat out by a bumblebee. A bee! Seriously! He is the cutest turtle ever. :)

A&E were invited to a classmates Halloween party Saturday night so we had some practice wearing our costumes.

We went the easy route this year with decorating pumpkins. E somehow lost his superhero mask kit so crafty dad stepped in and helped him make a minion. A of course chose a cat. This girl loves cats.

More football and cheer

Only 1 game left for A&E. E's Texans are 7-0-1. A's squad is undefeated. lol Here are some highlights from recent games!

Football and Cheer 10/10

A cheered for E's game on Thursday night. They had a half day at school then a dentist appointment then a playdate at the park so they were pretty tired. E's team tied. A did a great job cheering.

Caleb is 7 months old!

This is just crazy. 7 months old already? We are on the downhill slide to 1!!! I'm not ok with that.
C is a lovey guy. He gives me hugs and kisses all day long. He also yanks my hair, pinches me, and hits. Oh he's a beast. :) He says ba ba most of the time and ma when he is upset. Still working on mama and dada. He army crawls everywhere and he's pretty fast. He gets up on all fours and rocks and even gets up on hands and feet like he is going to bear crawl. He is so close to getting from crawling position to sitting. He can sit up for a bit now but he prefers to be moving. No time for sitting when there is so much to explore. He loves being read or sung to and is a good eater. So far he likes bananas, squash, sweet potatoes, and mashed potatoes are ok but not his favorite. He still loves mum mums and likes puffs and wagon wheels. Next we are going to try green beans. He has figured out how to drink from a straw and no drink is safe now. He gets MAD if you don't share. Too bad, buddy. Only water and formula for you.
He is sleeping pretty well. He does wake up most nights and wants his pacifier but can't find it. Why don't they make glow in the dark pacifiers?! He loves to nap with me but he's getting more mobile so I have to keep a close eye on him.
He still loves being in the carrier. He naps every football game and while we are out. We tried back carrying to practice for Halloween and he stays awake for that. He naps if I front carry.

Cheer 10/5

This Saturday, E had a game at another base and Avery cheered at our base so Andy took him and I took A (and C). It was a VERY busy morning. The cheerleaders did great and everyone thinks they are so cute. We still have some work to do but they were working hard to earn the spirit stick this week. I was smarter this week and wore C in the front carrier so he napped during the game. We were both hot and sweaty afterward but he was able to rest and I had my hands free!
We all met up for lunch at our fave place, Red Robin. E's team, the Texans won again! They are 3-0.
