Avery's First Recital

Avery's ballet recital was yesterday. She was a doll in her costume. We had dress rehearsal the day before and she was nervous. I think she was even more nervous at the recital with so many more people there. They had it in the dance studio so thankfully she wasn't on a big stage. That may have freaked her out a bit more. They danced to a song from the Tinkerbell movie. She was one of the first few to get her pics done (cannot wait to see the pro pics!!) so we waited in the lobby with other girls who were finished. She is like me and loves to take pics so I let her go wild with my phone.

My pics weren't so great from the actual recital. I hope the pro pics are better! Their teacher did the dance with them but Avery knew it. She did very well!

Afterward, Evan gave her roses.

We also gave her a bear with recital date, theme, and studio on it's dress and a ballerina necklace.

4th Soccer Game

A&E had their 4th soccer game yesterday (which reminds me that I didn't post pictures from their 3rd soccer game...oops!) Avery was on FIRE! They were playing against her favorite boy in their class and she was going easy on him at first until the coach encouraged her to show him how good she can be. She scored 5 goals and didn't want to ever sit out. Evan had a great game too! He is getting better all the time. He had 3 assists and 3 goals. The coaches are working on him playing defense and passing to other players (I think he would prefer to score all the goals though.... reminds me of someone else I know).

It's a Fiesta!

A&E had a Fiesta Program at school on Thursday. They were the opening act for some Latin dancers. They sang 3 songs in Spanish that they have been working on and it was adorable! They were more entertaining than the dancers in my opinion. ;)

New Bikes!

A&E used their birthday gift cards and money to buy new bikes and helmets. They look like such big kids! They are still using training wheels but we are using their smaller bikes to work on just 2 wheels.

Zoo Field Trip

A&E had their big zoo field trip on Friday. Andy even came to this one. I really didn't think we'd go because the weather was supposed to be bad. I didn't even take my camera. These are all from my phone.

5th Birthday Party

A&E and their friends had a blast at the party! It was a lot of fun. We had kids of all ages there (and about 30 of them!).
