19ish weeks

Woo hoo! Almost halfway there. I'll actually be 20 weeks on Friday. I saw the ob yesterday and it was just a regular appointment. Weight - good, BP - good, Hearbeat - 154. I'm still nauseous. There isn't anything else the doc can give me for it. :(

I go back on Nov 12 for the big ultrasound! I'm not sure if I shared this on here before but I won't be finding out without Andy. I will have the doctor write down the gender and put it in a sealed envelope. When Andy gets home, we will have a gender reveal party with our friends!

Pumpkin Patch

A&E had a 3 day weekend last week so we visited a local pumpkin patch. Miraculously it was a morning where I felt good enough to go. We hung out for a few hours. The morning had a rough start. Avery cried and didn't want to go. I was frustrated and said we could stay home then Evan was upset because he wanted to go. I eventually pried from Avery that she was sad that Andy wouldn't be with us. She has a tough time when it comes to bigger things that we usually do as a family. We ended up having a great time (once Evan convinced her to go).
We fed the animals, watched pig races, took a hayride, and they played on different play sets while we were there. They picked out tiny pumpkins to take to school on Monday.


They put a slide on this big hill and the kids could slide down on sacks. A&E were not a fan of the sacks. Evan went so fast, he ended up sideways. They tried again without the sacks later and it was too slow.

Riding the bulls was by far their favorite thing to do there.

This was a hay "jump" which was just big round bails of hay in a line with steps made of square bails at each end. A&E didn't jump off the side but liked to run across keeping their balance.

The kids could ride these little covered wagons for extra $. A&E were satisfied just sitting on them for a pic then pretending to drive.

Watching the pig races. It was competitive so Evan loved it. Avery was bored after a couple races.

On the hayride. I should have asked someone to take a pic of the three of us while we were sitting still.

The play area was a big hit. They had a big plastic pool filled with corn and a playset.

Avery decided to practice her big sister skills and push this baby in a swing. Then she made Evan go do it while she went to play. No idea why she thought it was their job. lol

Decorating Pumpkins

I have never been a huge fan of carving pumpkins. What a mess. I love these potato head type things you can just poke in and they last much longer. We have started a small collection so I didn't buy new ones this year. Nana and Papaw helped A&E decorate their pumpkins.

Avery finished hers quickly and decided to make hers double sided. She has a cat on one side and a puppy on the other and just moves her pumpkin to suit her mood.
