Playground fun

Andy flew all weekend and the weather was beautiful so we kept busy by visiting different playgrounds on base and played with some friends. 

The tyrant toddler

Oh the tantrums are strong with this one. If he isn't destroying something, he's climbing. Having twins did not prepare me for this guy. Hopefully he'll be a genius world leader one day. Here is a little sneak peek into my daily life (and the reason I rarely blog).

Time for basketball

A&E are playing basketball this season with Andy as coach. They had a Jamboree last Saturday where they played a quarter with each of the other teams. Andy was out of town so I played coach along with another dad from the team. It was actually fun and we have the best team (of course). I was proud of the Warriors! They were passing, shooting, rebounding, and even remembered to dribble.

Family Christmas visit

My family came to see us and we had a nice visit. We even went to the SIM to practice flying Andy's plane.

Fresh start

A&E started their new school after Christmas break. So far, so good. They seem happier and I like the shorter day. I have to drive them and pick them up now (with some occasional carpooling) so they aren't spending 30 minutes each way on the bus now. We get to sleep in 30 minutes later. The only downsides to that is getting C out in the cold and interrupting his sleep schedule. He was sleeping in and taking a later nap. It is worth it though to have them in a better school. They even have less homework which makes us all happier!
