I got the call today that A&E got into pre-K!

I am glad they got in and they will love it but it is 5 DAYS A WEEK! That is a lot of school for a (couple of) 4 year old(s). They may be more ready than I am. I have 3 short months to get used to this idea.

Oh 4 how I adore...thee

I like 4 year olds. Seriously! They are so much better than 3 year olds. ;-) I was a little nervous I wouldn't survive the 3s (whoever started the rumor about 2s being the worst LIED). A&E are so much more fun now. Sure they still whine and fight and tattling is on the rise but they are much less moody and way more reasonable now. Plus sweet things like this melt a mommy's heart.

Announcing the arrival of my 2-3 mm kidney stone! Born on Sunday May 15 in the early afternoon.

This is what it felt like...


This is what I looked like....


I went to the ER early Sunday morning because I was in INTENSE pain. People who claim a kidney stone is worse than labor are not exaggerating. You can get an epidural to have a baby. Contractions come in waves when you have a baby. This pain doesn't stop and nothing eases it except narcotics with a kidney stone. :p

I'll spare you the gory details but it is out now and I have vowed to drink as much water as possible for the rest of my life to keep everything flowing smoothly.

If you have not had a kidney stone, I suggest you stop and pray now, start paying in to good karma, thinking positive thoughts, and/or sacrifice an animal because I wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy.

Joey is 9!

Today is Joey's 9th birthday! Thankfully we went to walmart yesterday to get him some gifts because the roads around us flooded and we've been stuck at home all day. Joey enjoyed it though and we celebrated with a rainy day nap. Our favorite activity!
