Family Visit

My family had pity on me and came for a visit before Christmas. Unfortunately they were only able to stay for a couple of days before heading back to TN and all the snow. They missed our amazing warm weather day when they left (it was 70 the first day of winter!).

Here are some highlights from their visit.

Even Joey got some love (those of you that know Joey may think this is miraculous. He is awesome with little kids though)

Opening gifts

This is our thank you to family that sent A&E gifts! They loved opening all their presents and have played with everything already!

Thanks Great Grammy and Great Grandad! They loved the huge pencils, coloring books, and dinosaurs. They even slept with the dinosaurs that night and they are a huge hit in the bathtub! Thanks for my gingerbread oven mitts too. So cute!

Thanks Grandpa Wayne & Cheryl! They loved all the fun toys but have especially loved their DS games. They will wear their PSU outfits during the bowl game!

Thanks Grammy & Joel! They love taking photos with their camera (I think they have taken about 150 each so far) and my face is getting tired from saying "cheese". This must be how they feel when I am snapping pics all the time.

Oh and they opened gifts from us as well. They were so confused when they kept opening things for a Nintendo DS and Evan even said, but we don't have a DS. They were very happy to open their own!

Santa came to town

I haven't even wanted to look at my blog or edit pics lately. That advent blogging stuff was exhausting. I got a bit burnt out. I finally sat down tonight and went through Christmas day pics.

Here is some pics of gifts that Santa brought. The kids were not excited like I thought they would be. Avery woke up first and just kind of stumbled in and stared at the toys. The first thing she said was "Evan will love it". I asked if she wanted to go wake Evan up to tell him Santa came and she said no. lol I think she wanted a chance to check everything out first.

They perked up after breakfast and once we started unwrapping other gifts.

Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas to everyone! A&E were spoiled again this year. They had tons of gifts from Santa and our family. Thankfully Andy was able to get on the video chat to see them open some gifts. We really miss him today.

Tons of pics to come later.
